Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications before the USPTO, EPO, and other global patent offices.

Conduct patentability, freedom-to-operate (FTO), and validity analyses.

Provide strategic advice on patent portfolio development and IP protection strategies.

Handle patent oppositions, re-examinations, and litigation matters. Advise clients on IP licensing, due diligence, and infringement risks.

Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and business teams to identify patentable inventions.

Monitor and analyze competitor patents and industry trends. Ensure compliance with local and international IP laws.

Paralegal

Assist attorneys in preparing and filing patent, trademark, and copyright applications with the USPTO, WIPO, and foreign patent offices.

Manage IP docketing and deadlines using software.

Draft routine correspondence, including client reports, filing receipts, and office action responses. Maintain and organize IP portfolios, including renewals, assignments, and licensing agreements.

Coordinate with foreign associates for international filings (PCT, Madrid Protocol, Hague System). Assist in IP litigation support (e.g., discovery, document production, trial preparation).

Monitor and report on competitor IP activity and industry trends.

Client Manager

Serve as the trusted point of contact for key clients, understanding their IP needs and business objectives.

Proactively monitor client satisfaction, address concerns, and coordinate with attorneys to deliver tailored solutions.

Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews to strengthen long-term partnerships.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective client accounts.

Collaborate with IP attorneys to develop client-centric strategies.

Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to build brand visibility.
